IBKR Mobile - Invest Worldwide App Reviews

I would like it to have better charting like the thinkorswim mobile platform.

When will this app get the iPhone 6 and 6+ support? It is almost one year that the 6 and 6+ iPhone models came out but the app is not updated to support the iPhone 6 and 6+ models.

Everytime I open the app, it pops up the "unexpected error" dialog for twice after login!

This app used to work fine. After the latest update, I get two errors every time i open this app. I havent updated to ios 9 - pretty sure thats part of the problem

1) Implement interactive charts: zoom-in, zoom-out, similar to TD Ameritrade or Investing.com app 2) Redesign Options Chain. 3) Add Forex support outside of forex watchlist 4) add major indexes support in charts 5) multitasking without full reload 6) One click trades in Book Trader 7) add stocktwits integration

Wont load and crashes when i try and run it :( very sad as I wanted to sell a winning stock and Im sure it will go down before I get back to my desk :(

IB execution is great the brokerage and desktop apps. But the timeouts and disconnects on the mobile apps are beyond annoying. It even times out to the login server (I can see limiting the free visitors quote traffic). Seriously IB, need your IT people to show the mobile servers some love

The app itself is "okay" and average, so generally a 3 stars. However, what keeps frustrating me is that 70% of the news they show on the portfolio is from SeekingAlpha, and it only shows 2 paragraph before saying, "you need to go to the seeking alpha app now." Leaving and coming back to an app is a constant annoyance (and seeking alpha app is bugging...wont let me login either). When I see the news section, I cringe and prefer to just go to another website to look up stocks....

Overall a great mobile trading platform for when youre on the go. Recent updates have added several nice features, especially the daily p&l per contract. The trading style is similar to TWS desktop so no learning curve to overcome. Im looking forward to continued enhancements through future updates, hopefully Touch ID compatibility to authenticate for trading as one, and maybe a few more studies for the charts.

Charts are garbage.. But why are you charting on your phone anyway?? Clean simple and does everything you need.. Order entry could be better though

I used to be able to check a watchlist or general market conditions without signing in. Now I have to constantly be signing in...so annoying.

Finding it impossible to sign in - app keeps auto submitting credentials when app is toggled to foreground. Both fields are blank but app tries to login to read only mode. Type in user name then toggle away to copy password to clipboard from 1Password, toggle back, and another auto login is attempted before I can paste the password in. Likewise when I am automatically toggled to IB Key for fingerprint authentication the fields are damaged on return. Have been unable to use app for at least a week.

A lot of key functions are missing. Can not be worse!

Options trading is literally unusable as I cant take my profits on the go. I want to be able to roll my trades as sometimes I dont have enough time to sit on my desktop. Please add more features to options trading.

Extremely buggy. Quotes often dont show up. Cant roll options and painstakingly have to manually roll. Book button shows just one price quite often. Everything is slow. And considering IB is a profitable 15 billion dollar company this is nothing but a disgrace of an application.

In general dont mind the app but few issues that need serious updates fast. 1. Needs ability to add trend lines. Even just horizontal lines like TOS app. 2. When placing a limit order you can not attach a stop order that will execute outside RTH. This is unacceptable as traders cant attach to parent orders and need to make completely separate stop orders from original order.

After upgrade, the fonts have become so tiny even with large font mode. The buttons replaced by tiny words links. Overall not a very welcome upgrade. The font size are a big usability factor when you use it on your phone.

Can we set the auto log off to longer? The app clicks out automatically in just a couple of mins that cause troubles to login again and again. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

I use Thinkorswim and IB daily. Going from one to the other is like getting out from a Ferrari and getting into a Chevrolet. The Chevy will get you there... but you will most definitely not enjoy the ride.
